Thurs, 10th Aug, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 9.7 degrees, no wind, yeah. Still a few clouds on the horizon.

Some ‘28s’ came for a drink. I took the photo through the screen as I knew if I opened the door they would fly off. Got one in the tree.

10am the clouds rolled in again but the wind has gone so we can handle it being chilly.

By lunch the sky had cleared and the sun was warming us up again. Pulled out the awning and got the washing machine going.

Got everything dry then played a few games of Dice with Sandy. Tom was working on the washing machine Ross picked up from the dump – only a small problem to get it going again – amazing what people throw out. Steve worked on the stove which needs a lot more attention!!

The boys were off getting firewood so we taught Lara how to play Skipbo. She picked it up very quickly – beating us!!

Chilly day but we are loving not being blown around.
