Fri, 19th Feb, 2016 Margaret & Gary’s, Marion Bay, SA

Rain during the night and lots of wind. Heavy clouds this morning. Texted Amanda to pass on our birthday wishes to Bradley – they are all growing up so quickly!!

The boys finished filleting and cleaning the boat. I worked on my blog and sorted out the magazine’s contract etc.

The sky is clearing so after lunch the boys chopped up a fallen tree etc. I showed Margaret how to play Sequence and we played some more Bananarama games. After a few games we went for a walk to the lookout.

Looking around Willyama Bay to Rhino Head.

Back over the houses with a salt lake in the distance.

The other way – zoomed in on the jetty at Marion Bay, then over Penguin Point.

Walked further along to Penguin Point – another good vantage point over Marion Bay.

Oops the cliffs are cracking.

Down onto the beach we walked to the end where there is a lot of sea grass.

I found a shell and a piece of coal that is still coming onto the shore from the wrecked ship just off shore.

Back to the boys where we found a little Pygmy Possum in the leaves.

He is so cute.

Snapper and nannygai for dinner – so great to be eating fish fresh from the sea.

A few more games of Sequence to finish off the day.
