Sun
out but still windy. Watched the V8s racing at Barbagallo in WA that I taped
over the weekend. Will have to call into the track when we head back to Perth
this year.
Mum
& I visited Margit and Isabel at their home in Machan’s Beach. Margit is
renovating again but it more like building a new house onto the little one,
adding lots of bedrooms. Lovely and open and with having the demolition
business of Martin’s she has lots of access to recycling windows, doors,
floorboards etc which added to the style of the house. Isabel is a cutie and at
4 is full of beans.
Back
home for lunch then I worked on putting the faces to the family tree charts on
my laptop for the Geck/Miller family. Luckily Erica has done lots of the
cropping and naming of the faces.
Met
Sandra for a cuppa at Earlville. Our linedancing teacher’s partner, Sharon,
stopped by for a chat and said to drop in.
First
though I went around to Jon and Dan’s to put a couple of things in ‘our’ room
and for a chat then dropped off Sarah’s hard drives to David.
Around
to Lisa and Sharon’s where I gave Lisa a surprise when I went through the door.
Sharon has been busy renovating too and building fabulous rocking
animals/things. She did a motorbike first which was amazing. Next was a plane
which can be lifted off the rocking part so the child can ride it around –
fabulous. Now she is working on a horse and is planning an elephant. I
suggested a wombat. Great retirement income for them as she loves doing it.
Picked
up Val and we headed down to Brothers for dinner. No big wins but we had a bit
of fun on the pokies.
