7am
24 degrees, light cool breeze, and cloudy. The rain continued into the early
hours. 5ml in my new rain gauge.
We
were due to a bore run but will wait as the cloud means the bore don’t pump and
the track might be a bit boggy.
Helped
Steve with some braces on the yards then he wired up some of the panels.
The
local electrician and his wife arrived to install the air conditioner in the
cottage. As our genie isn’t big Steve shut down the fridges so we could make
sure it ran ok.
31
degrees at lunchtime with a nice breeze. The sky has cleared with puffy clouds
floating over.
Headed
off on the bore run. No cattle in the yard.
Lots
of lizards and goannas on the track as we checked each water point.
Home
at 4.30pm, 33 degrees, cool breeze and some clouds in the south east. Some cattle have figured out how to get in through the red gate and are enjoying their reward.
Drinks
time watching more cattle go around the yards trying to work out how to get in
for a drink and to eat the hay.
Lovely
evening, sky clear and the stars are sparkling.
