Tues, 19th Mar, 2019 10 Mile Outcamp, Tarmoola Station, 60km north of Leonora, WA

7.30am 26 degrees, clear sky and a cool breeze from the north.

Spent the morning investigating places to detect.

Clouds building in the north west again.

As we turned into our track home we heard men chatting about just pulling off onto the dirt road. When we came over the hill we found them. It was a big drilling rig and camp and a few chaps who said they were working around here and were waiting for the geologist ahead to call them down. We continued down the track and met the CEO of the mining company and his geologist. Nice chaps, they will be around for about a week. We explained who we were then left them to get set up near the old airstrip. They are doing deeper drilling for gold from the information they gathered with the drilling they did here in December.

Dark clouds in the north. 3pm 36 degrees with a slight south-easterly breeze.

Pottered around for the afternoon.

Soaked my feet and legs in the pool as it is quite humid but it was too chilly to get into the water after having all that nice rain water in the pool now.

Warmer evening. 8.30pm we heard the pitter patter of rain on the roof but it is very light.

Needed the fan as the breeze has stopped when we went to bed.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
