Quiet night but the birds are up early in the river area. 6.30am 14.9 degrees.
Wash day. Steve set up the washing machine outside then hung a clothes line from the tree to the camper. I did the washing then Steve used the washing water to wash the truck and camper so we are all clean again.
I made pikelets for morning tea in between loads. Still have plenty of rosella jam. With the washing on the line I did my usual baking so we are stocked up. I made a shopping list for Port Hedland.
A few other vans are having an extra day too. The rest areas have been big down the coast so far which is wonderful for travellers.
We went for a walk after a cuppa to check out the De Grey River. The edge of the river is fenced off because of a weed problem. Across the bridge - looks like there is just a lagoon now on this side and lots of sand.
Zoomed in on three swans.
Sat outside for drinkies as the sun started to drop then inside as the cool chill set in for dinner.
