Sun, 30^th

Quiet morning.

Joined Jon and Annalise as they opened with wedding cards and gifts. They are so grateful to everyone and looking forward to thanking them after the honeymoon.

There was some unused film in the disposable cameras so I took a couple of photos of the newly weds and her beautiful rose and orchid bouquet.

Jon and Annalise went around to her parents to see all her relatives again before they headed off. Nice having the day to relax before flying out tomorrow.

Roald and Joan popped up for a visit before they head off up the tablelands.

We all joined the Gecks for dinner at the Cock & Bull as Terry heads home on the train tomorrow and David, Amanda and kids fly out too. Great night chatting.

 

 

Mon, 31^st

More rain. I am hoping Jon & Annalise have some sunshine in the Maldives for their honeymoon though it is their monsoon time!

At lunch I took Jon & Annalise to the airport for their flight to Brisbane, then Singapore then the Maldives - bit of a long haul, hope it goes ok.  

I took most of the flowers around to Lynda’s so she can enjoy them too. We had a cuppa and a piece of the wedding cake. She has cut it up into a container so I can take it home and freeze it for Jon & Annalise.

Annalise posted 5 beautiful photos on Facebook from the photographer (which I put in the 29^th post of the wedding). Lots of lovely messages coming through.

Pete came around for drinks on the deck. We have the house to use while they are away but we will stay in the camper. I am going to give it a clean for them so it is nice and fresh for when they return.
