Sat, 15th July, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 11.9 degrees, clear sky.

Followed Tom and Sandy to check out some different areas.

Sandy has found a heap of beautiful clear crystals on a slope of quartz rocks so we stopped there for a look. We managed to find a few nice ones too.

Warmer day though the wind picked up a lot. We stopped off to check out some other areas on our way back for lunch.

Made some more pasta salad for our sausage sizzle tonight with Tom and Sandy. Annette has been ill so she and Sandy won’t join us.

Wrapped my fairy lights around the tree beside our van – I forgot about them. I have our other solar lights out marking the awning ropes etc.

We played games then when the wind dropped we got the fire going and had a yummy dinner. There was a little microbat caught in one of the dongas so we set it free – it looked so cute.

Lots of laughter as we played games – girls ruled in Sequence but the boys got us in Skipbo.
