Clear
sky, breeze, 23 degrees at 7am with the van closed up.
Gave
Steve a haircut then he coloured my hair and trimmed the ends so we are
presentable again.
Steve
went for a wander and found a table left beside the rubbish bin. It had one
broken leg that screws in and is a smaller version of our square table we have
in the truck. Without the broken leg we can still use it as our drinks table.
Steve fixed the leg any case as it had just snapped the screw in bit off.
He
also found some rocks that he cubes of copper looking mineral. Will have to get
it checked to see what mineral it is – definitely not gold.
After
lunch we found the cards and played 3 to Kings then I continued on catching up
on my Blog.
Gusty
wind but nice temperature today, up to 32 but it doesn’t feel hot.
Rang
Erica and Terry. They are still at their caravan club state rally so just had a
short chat to let them know where we are headed. Erica said they nearly won the
Trivia night. She mentioned one of the questions – what is the only word in the
dictionary that ends with ‘mt’. It is 'dreamt'.
Steve
found a gold ball yesterday and today came back with the gold club. It is a 3
iron – will have to ask Jon when you use it. I got some exercise hitting the
ball then walking to where it landed – sometimes it went a long way – then I
would hit it back to camp and then start over. Good walk.
Had
our drinks outside. A motorhome has parked further over but we haven’t seen
them yet.
Rang
Rebecca and Clive for a great chat. They are heading off to PNG on a cruise
shortly then Ingrid’s baby is due then they will fly to NZ to see their little
grandchild. Exciting for them all.
Rang
Joy to check if they needed anything before we head down tomorrow – just a
couple of loaves of bread if there are any left. She said there was a funeral
in Meeka so the shops might be empty.
Watched
some more of our 2016 photos then started a new TV series on the hard drive.
Quite
a cool breeze coming in the window so had to shut them to keep warm!!
