Wed, 1st June, 2022 Hidden Valley Holiday Park, Berrimah, NT

Cloudy and humid. Steve worked on the turbo. Rod popped over to see if he needed any help.

The engine has started - yeah. A warning light has come on though. He rang Fozzie to check and he decided he might buy a decoding tool that Fozzie suggested. That way we don’t have to pay a mechanic to put his decoding tool on it to clear the fault.

The airforce are flying off again. Rod found out that it was pilot training. Christine got a great photo yesterday as one banked above the van park and she can even see the pilots in the cockpit.

I sent off my emails to Shippit and TNT - wonder if I will ever get a response.

We headed into town to buy a few things. Posted the old turbo back to Eclipse Turbo Systems via snail mail with Australia Post. Will probably get to them in the same time the ‘overnight express’ took to get the new one to us. Rang Andrew with the tracking code and thanked him again for all his help.

The warning light went off as we drove along but we bought the decoding tool just in case. We found a solar panel too as Steve wanted another one for the camper roof.

Home for a late lunch then off to get buy a few more groceries I needed. Only getting fruit and veg for a week as you can’t take anything across into WA. Have frozen veg to use if we happen to need longer.

Joined Gary and Cheryl for drinks. They will be taking their camper trailer in tomorrow to get the brakes sorted then they will be on the road too.

Shippit sent an email stating ‘the parcel has been damaged in transit’ and for us to contact Eclipse. I sent off a text to Andrew and he got the same one too - go figure. They had no idea where our parcel was. Thank goodness I didn’t get that before it arrived or I would have been very upset.
