Wed, 25th June, 2025 Bush camp on Killara Station, north of Meekatharra, WA

6.6 degrees, clear sky and the cold wind is back giving the camper a rock now and then.

We went wandering. Steve found a nice crystal which we might put in the tumbler when we get back to Woodgate house.

Margaret’s birthday today so gave her a call and wished her all the best. Quite day at home - getting to the age of not wanting to remember the number!!

There is a bit of warmth in the sunshine but the wind is very cold. The camper got to 25 degrees with it closed up.

I found a hole filled with rubbish with sticks on it like they were going to burn it then left. I pulled out the rubbish so burn in our fire and the tins they left will go in our bin. Some people have no respect.

Sent a text off to Rick to see where he got to. He is in Boulia, travelling with his sister, Donna and her husband Gavin. Will head across the Plenty Highway and get to Alice Springs.

BBQ tea tonight and luckily the wind died down. I had dug out the big coats but it was quite pleasant by the fire without the wind tonight.

Spotted some satellites and realised there isn’t a white halo after the sun has set where we saw the ‘lights’. Must be something with being further south.
