Windy again, min of 14.6 degrees, blue sky with a few clouds.
I went with Mike to his daughter’s place so we could go out in their boat to check the cray pots. As we head across the bay - looking back at some of the houses.
Further out heading to the mouth - looking back.
Following the narrow channel to get out to the open water. Looking across to Eddystone Point lighthouse - visited that last visit.
Safely out through the bar and into the rougher water - the wind has picked up. Closer view of the lighthouse.
Only allowed one pot each and only 2 crays. Sadly none in the first one and the second one had a big shell with hermit crab and a cray that was a fraction too small so it had to go back. The rules are very strict with anyone taking undersize crays so it is not worth the risk.
Back in time for a cuppa. The sun is out now so it has warmed up but still very windy.
An actuator has started to play up and then stopped so Steve swapped it for one of our spares.
The wind has brought the clouds back so it cold again by lunch time.
I worked on my blog for a while then the phone rang - I have been getting texts etc but not enough signal to check weather or FB etc. It was Rebecca which was great and we had a wonderful catch up.
Some strong gusts of wind have been buffeting the camper.
Joined the others for a cuppa on the patio. Played another game of Scrabble with the kids - used to love playing it and Upwords with Erica. Steve not keen on word games.
Mike & Anne’s daughter, Sarah and her husband Ben arrived. They have a business using Artificial Insemination for cattle and dairy cows - very interesting and very time consuming when the animals are in season.
The wind still blowing hard - glad we weren’t here to go fishing as it is too rough for us. Even the black cockatoos are complaining about the wind!
Had dinner then joined the others to chat the night away.
