Tues, 19th Sept, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 21.3 degrees, clear sky, light cool breeze.

The wind came up from the north east as we detected – a lot warmer wind.

We finished early so headed back to camp to do the washing. The wind is stronger but the awning is doing ok and it will only take a moment for the washing to dry!!

Phil arrived after lunch.

We had a relaxing afternoon as the wind howled. Got out our fan that takes water to make it cooler – we bought it after the 45 degree days we had at Mildura. It is 35 degrees today. I downloaded movies off Tom’s hard drive and gave them some of our TV series etc.

Had drinks on the other side of our van in the shade as the wind whistled around us.

Decided to cook inside as the shower water is heating up in the black buckets very nicely so we didn’t need a fire at all.

The wind settled after sunset though and it was very still. Our fan works very nicely.
