Tues, 12th Sept, 2017 Bush camp, near Meekatharra, WA

7am 16.9 degrees, clear sky. Still have the windows closed at night though and are still under the blanket but it certainly is warming up. The days are mid 20s which is nice.

The birds are running back and forth on the roof of the van trying to get us up so they can have their ‘breakfast’, bread or cornflakes!!

Nice temperature for detecting – down to one layer though that is long sleeved and long pants to keep most of the dust off us. Will need some tanning up after this as I am white compared to my normal brown skin.

Open up the van at lunch time but close it up again when we go out in case of ‘willy willies’.

26 degrees in the van at 5pm. In the shade the breeze is quite cool so still need a cardigan after the sun goes down.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
