Cool night, 15 degrees at 6am. Lots of lovely texts from family and friends which I forwarded to Amanda so she can read them to Terry when he is ready.
Quiet day helping Kev and Linda. Went to Bunnings to get a new garden gnome as Noel Junior had disappeared a year after we had left him at Gnomesville with his uncles! Got a cute one with his fishing rod.
Played Skipbo with Kev and Linda after lunch. They had originally taught us but they haven’t played it in a long time.
Linda and I walked her dog through their estate area to a nice big lagoon. Had plenty of ducks, water hens and a couple of swans.
Linda went off to her art class in the late afternoon. She is trying a different medium and is doing a portrait of one of her daughter’s dogs. I showed her the beautiful ones Amanda has done. All very talented people. I will just stick to taking photos!
We had drinks with Kev in his shed. He is growing lots of fruit and vegies in tubs outside the shed. Kev commented that Brian had posted up a lovely tribute and photos of Erica on Facebook but it hadn’t come up on my page! It eventually came up. I didn’t have these photos so I downloaded them. Erica telling Stephen and Brian they had to dig up the dirt here as her divining wire said there was gems there. Not sure if it was for topaz or gold - can’t remember where that photo was taken. The other was another view of when we got Erica to have a game of Kelly Pool at Christmas - sitting on her walker.
David sent a photo of Terry relaxing in Erica’s recliner. They had cleared out her room at the aged care place of course. His old one is being retired to the dump.
Back to the camper for dinner. Amanda sent a text asking for photos of Erica so I sent her a few. (Found out later she wanted it for the Funeral Home to put up on their website.) I found these two (2016 Erica’s 80th birthday) and decided to put up a small FB post from us.
Here’s another lovely one of my three favourite ladies in 2018 - forever in Heaven now playing the pokies.
