Warmer
night so it was 25 degrees at 7am. Cyclone Marcia now a Cat 5 and started to
cross the coast about 9am – watching it all on Sunrise. Lovely view from our
camp though.
Got
out the washing machine and put up the wind protectors as it was looking like
it might shower. Steve went down the road to the hospital while I got on with
the washing.
He
was back quickly, the radiographer couldn’t see any substantial spur or
fracture. Steve carried on with the washing while I headed into Burnie to
donate plasm. Hope I remember how to drive the car!!
The
clouds slowly left and the sun was warm but it takes forever to dry the
clothes. Maybe being by the sea doesn’t help.
Got
everything dry then headed up the hill to Alan and Dianne’s place. The sky has
cleared and we enjoyed sitting on their balcony. The sun seems hottest at 5pm.
Great time chatting, drinking and eating. We had brought dips etc then Dianne
brought out pizzas and fingerfood so we don’t have to think about dinner. It
was a lovely evening and it only started to get cool as we headed off at 8pm.
Back to the van we had a cuppa looking over the sea enjoying listening to the
waves and looking at the stars.
