Wed, 21st Sept, 2022 Bush camp beside Running Waters Waterhole in Davis River, east of Nullagine, WA

14.5 degrees minimum so we had a nice sleep in. Still windy.

8am 19 degrees, clear sky.

Made my No Bake Cheesecakes for dessert - so easy. Then some pikelets for morning tea, slowly working our way through the Rosella jam.

Had a swim, read in the hammock then had lunch. Wrote up some of my blog.

Another swim as the temperature has climbed to 35 degrees and the wind has stopped blowing.

Spotted a camper trailer coming in and going down the other track so went for a walk to say hello. A family from Geelong and they have just come across the Gary Junction Highway so we quizzed them about it.

Another couple walked down from the top car park and had a quick dip.

No wind so it is perfect for drinks by the fire - changed fire places as the other one we could sit around it.

So lovely listening to the birds and frogs. Heard a Mopoke call and then two Barking Owls call to each other as they travelled down the waterhole.

Dinner by the fire - a perfect evening and no bugs!
