Weather Bureau forecast said rain and unfortunately they got it right. Got ready and drove to the harbour but the heavy sky was not lifting so we decided to save the trip to Great Keppell Island for another time when we can enjoy it more. Lucky I took at photo of the island yesterday when the sun was shining.

 We then drove north to Byfield National Park and checked out campsites for the next time we are in the region. Steve found a friend when we had smoko. A walk through Yeppoon in the misty rain looking for a chemist. Dad gave me his cold!!! Back to the van for lunch and a quiet afternoon. Broke out the coffee money bag and enjoyed a special treat in Yeppoon then a photo with the Spirit Sculpture in between showers.
