Wed, 27th Aug, 2014 Cooroibah to Petrie

Took photo of our truck supposedly hooked onto Roald’s new Bushtracker van and sent him a text that Joan said we could borrow it for a year or two!!

But we hooked ours up and off we went again. Fuelled up again – fun finding cheaper fuel places but be able to get into them. Turned off to Bribie Island to visit Fogg family tree descendants, Keith and Lynne. Had a lovely lunch and chat.

Dropped off Rebecca & Clive’s material for the seats in their new camper they are ordering soon in Clontarf. Big black clouds greeted us as we headed south.

Someone was talking about hail on the UHF radio but luckily we missed it. Just got some rain when we got to Graeme and Fiona’s house in Petrie.

We met Graeme whilst on our honeymoon in Great Keppel Island and have kept in touch since. Another great dinner and chatting the night away.
