Sun, 7th Dec, 2014 Cooee Point Reserve

Woke to a cooler morning 15.7 degrees and blue sky but still windy. Watching the news, so glad we aren’t around Sydney – amazing photos of the storms.

Off to the shops to top up the pantry before we head off tomorrow.

Climbed up the hill to Upper Burnie so stopped at the Lookout. Great view over Burnie. Clouds starting to come in again and the wind is still strong.

The site of the old Pulp & Paper Mill is massive.

Relaxing afternoon again in front of the TV watching the V8s in Sydney. The storms hit again so the race was stopped as it was too dangerous to continue. Jamie Whincup won his 6th Championship.

Wrote some Christmas cards ready to post tomorrow.

Rang Tracy & Grant for a chat. Then Mum & Dad about their travel plans, Greg had just arrived to had a chat with him – Tracy is now Sister Brotherton, which is wonderful. Next a chat with Wendy and David. Great to be able to ring up and chat with everyone.

Yummy roast dinner with potato bake for dinner.
