18
degrees at 8am – just comfortable.
A
group of trailbikers have arrived but quickly disappeared into the pine trees.
Lovely sunny day again with clear blue sky.
Did
some more blogging then went for a walk with Steve. Lives up to its name of
Sunny Corner.
He
was impressed with the dunny which was all pressed metal and even had vents and
a seal around the lid!!
Walked
up through the pine trees following the tracks. Found another open area. Sadly
some people just can’t take their rubbish with them!! At least they aren’t
smashed in the fire.
Found
a nice tree for Christmas.
The
reserve has an old cricket pitch in the middle and an old style tennis court.
Even with a winder to tighten up the net.
There
is a playground behind the shelter shed but someone has stolen the fencing
which was welded to the posts but they just cut it beside the welds – really!!!
The
car campers packed up and left.
I
continued with my blog and updating Facebook. Steve walked around with his
relic detector but only found ring pulls.
The
motorbikers came back and a couple of them set up camp for the night.
Got
the fire going as big dark clouds came over. Steve cooking tea in the
bushcooker tonight. Rang Marion and Pete. They have Colin’s daughter’s wedding
on Saturday so we will arrive on Friday. Looking forward to seeing them and
Uncle Wal again.
Ian
rang for a chat – back into work again – poor thing!!
Rang
Dennis and Rhonda to see when they will be free. Rhonda is still having chemo
but doing well.
Rang
Amanda to see how Ella was coping after having her baby teeth that hadn’t
fallen out yet and her wisdom teeth out – still swollen but looking forward to
the tooth fairy arriving.
Yummy
tea by the fire but it is starting to cool off by 8pm so headed inside.
