Wed, 30th September, 2015 Greens Point, Sofala

10 degrees at 7am but nice in long slacks and t-shirt.

Happy Birthday to Veronica – she has a wonderful birthday present in her little girl, Faith.

Steve and Rick started work on putting in the diesel heater in Rick’s van. I baked some Fudgy Wudgy cookies as Rick had been looking forward to them again. Also did a date slice that we all enjoyed in Tassie. Down tools time for the workers.

I changed into shorts and singlet and got started on the washing. The sun is lovely and warm and it is so nice not to be covered in layers of clothes.

By afternoon smoko the washing was done and the boys were nearly finished the heater installation. The locals have moved in!!

Love the hairdo on this one.

Leanne and I went for a walk down to where we camped last time as some big black clouds came over and started to dump huge drops of rain. Luckily the boys pulled in the remainder of my washing to under the awning.

Got the fire going for a nice drink after a hard day’s work. Then the heavens decided to dump another shower on us – short and sweet though.

Leanne got her heater working in the van so they headed in to enjoy the warmth as it is starting to cool off again.

Our van was still warm from the sun so we didn’t turn ours on. Lou rang to let us know Brian Stone has passed away yesterday from cancer – only 3 weeks ago he found out. So sad for all the family. Sent Gavin a text message to say we are thinking of them all.

Rang Rebecca and Clive to see how their travels are going in their new motorhome – all good and Clive has been doing well so hopefully it will just have been from dehydration.

Watched another good movie Jon downloaded for us.
