Wed, 1st June, 2016 ‘Belly Plate Camp’, near Goodin Mine, 93km NE of Meekatharra, WA

7.30am 15.4 degrees with clear blue sky and no wind.

Steve headed back to Internet Hill to try some more spots. Jeff & Lyn are having a rest day. I read up more about the Hema Navigator, learning about the track trails etc. I had downloaded a ‘How to Use Tengraph’ off a WA prospecting site so read up on their hints etc.

Chatted with Jeff and Lyn about WA as they had lived in Kununurra for 14 years working in the sugar industry. Another 4WD towing a trailer came past us but didn’t stop.

Lovely day, 27 degrees. Steve found one little nuglet, 0.5g.

Steve pottered around fixing a couple of things then headed off again after smoko. I worked on my family tree photos – there are so many!!

Back with one more bit, 0.4g – not quite his gram for the day!!

Another lovely evening by the fire, just cool enough to enjoy the fire’s warmth.
