Mon, 29th May, 2017 Lake Mason campground, near Sandstone, WA

11.3 degrees at 7am. Rang Jeff to tell him about Margaret’s nugget off the patch we worked last year and we missed it!!

Steve and I went back to the scrapes and had a good time. Spotted a black swan on the lake.

Kevin & Linda went back to the first spot but didn’t have any luck. Margaret and Bob went for a drive checking out the other mines further along the road to Wiluna.

Lovely warm day which makes up for the cold mornings. It was 30 degrees in the van at 3pm. Steve got the donkey shower going and I washed my hair and handwashed the clothes in the bucket using the lovely hot water.

Another beautiful night around the fire with lots of laughter. Only saw one satellite though!!
