Tues, 12th Dec, 2017 Silver Sands Resort, Mandurah, WA (Carols & Fireworks)

Clear sky, bit cooler wind.

Had a quiet day relaxing in the unit. I caught up on my blog – so many photos of Christmas lights.

Watched a couple of movies.

Played a few games of Kelly Pool with Steve. He had won both times 2 games to 1.

The Mandurah Pageant was at 6pm but we had seen the Perth one (i.e. parade) so we thought it was easier to have dinner here then go in for the fireworks. Kaylene decided to stay at the unit so Steve and I walked into the Foreshore – very windy. Good decision not to drive as it was packed.

The ferris wheel over at the park was lit up and look great.

We walked down to the end where there was a soundshell and Christmas Carols were being sung. I was in heaven singing along as they had a big screen and all the words to all the songs. Mum would have loved them. We even managed to find two seats.

Then we turned and we had a great view across the water for the fireworks. Took a video of the finale display to show Kaylene what she missed.

Headed back past the floating Christmas Trees. Lovely night for a stroll.
