7am
28 degrees, clear sky and gusty wind from the north.
Sent
Andrea a happy birthday message.
Carried
on with our track grading. Continued on out to the front fence – another oops
as one of the bottom rails broke its weld too. Still heavy enough to do the job
so we continued on and finished the track.
Home
for late lunch, 40 degrees at 1pm, no wonder ‘Pat’ was getting a bit hot.
Watched
a 4x4 DVD about Fraser Island.
Cuppa
in the pool then continued with my jigsaw. Steve back on the tablet again!!
Making the most of it as when we travel we only have the dongle to provide
internet which is only for the laptop.
Saw
dust coming up out of the fire pit then a claw and head of the small goanna ‘Charlie’.
I had thrown in some paper towel that I had used to wipe up the corned beef
juice etc from lunch. He was munching on that then he came out with a corn cob.
He climbed over the top and plopped on the ground and proceeded to swallow the
corn cob whole. Always something interesting happening around here.
No
wind at 5pm and it is still 41 degrees. The pool filter working well but it
doesn’t make the water cooler!!
Late
dinner as we sat outside enjoying the twilight coolness before going into the
hot van.
Movie
again – so glad we have our hard drives. Glen has more too which I will have to
copy.
NO
PHOTOS TODAY.
