Lovely sleep-in. 17 degrees though it warmed up quickly. Clear sky.
I did my baking which we shared for morning tea. The koalas have left.
Steve went with Rick for a drive to Lowood to pick up his ride-on mower. Leanne and I played cards.
Got to 37 degrees in the camper after lunch but there is a nice breeze blowing if you are outside. We were inside playing cards with the air conditioning on so all good.
Margaret sent a photo of Bob on his new toy, ‘Scooter’. It fits on the back of the ute so they took it up to the goldfields recently and he was able to zoom about and take water out to where Margaret was detecting etc. Great idea as his legs aren't up to walking long distances any more. More stable than the little step-through scooter they had when we first met them at Carawine Gorge!
Took some drinks and headed into Lowood for dinner at a nice Thai Restaurant to thank them for looking after the camper. The lady had just bought an old record player so Rick had fun helping her get it sorted. Lovely dinner - we are enjoying Thai food more than Chinese of late.
Back home again for a cuppa and more chatting.
