Fri, 7th Feb, 2025 Bush camp by Blackwood River, near Eulin Crossing, WA

19 degree min, very windy with a few clouds about.

More clouds blocking the sun now and the wind comes and goes in gusts.

Worked on my blog, need to catch up! Grey sky morning and cooler which is nice.

A couple from Perth stopped by. They are staying at Lake Towerrining which we visited recently on our wanderings - good waterskiing area but he said very choppy today hence they are doing a drive around. He still barefoots at 79. She was a nurse at the Calvary Hospital in Cairns and has a brother at Silver Valley up past Herberton - small world.

At lunchtime Jon videoed so we had a lovely chat with him, Annalise and of course watched Beau climbing about etc. Looking forward to playing with him soon.

A bit more sunshine now so it is warming up.

A couple arrived in a motorhome towing a little car. The parked on the main track and dropped their car off but then it wouldn’t go into gear. Steve went over to help but the automatic just kept crushing. The guy gave up and left it there. Moved the motorhome further around on the track and set up.

Kerry sent a photo of their new grandson, Murphy, son for Sophie and Nathan. I sent Sophie a congratulations message - so happy for them both.

Glen and Shelley became grandparents too recently, Lexi had a little girl but unfortunately she had a hard start so still being cared for. Hopefully they will all go home together soon.

3pm up to 31 degrees, the wind has blown all the clouds away.

Two 4WDs drove in, parked one into the bush and then drove off in the other one - weird.

All quiet for the afternoon, reading our books outside in the shade.

No fish noises and only a couple of ducks paddled by.
