Fri, 7th Apr, 2017 Lake Douglas Recreation Reserve, 10km west of Kalgoorlie to Centennial Park RV Stop, Kalgoorlie, WA

Gusty strong wind all night but no rain. Cold wind and cloudy at 7.30am and only 17 degrees. Had our few days of lovely weather!!

Max came up and showed me some more tricks with GeoMaps. They headed off – might catch them somewhere on the goldfields. Greg left too hoping his parts had arrived.

Rang Gavin about the welding and he said to come and park at his place for the weekend.

I was going to wash today but it is miserable so we decided to go back the RV stop for the night. Stopped at Noel’s on the way but no answer so we left our card.

Parked in another spot in case that Council worker came around again and we didn’t put out our bucket till late then got rid of the water straight away!!

Worked on my blog – glad we are having this down time for me to catch up. Cold day only got to 20 all day.

Malcolm rang to say he had a good practice at Symmon Plains in the Super GT group which were support category for the V8s Supercars event there. Fox Sport had put cameras on his car so it would be televised on Fox Sport. We are hoping Gavin has that so we can watch him and the V8s race otherwise we will have to find a pub.

There is a youth festival in the park’s ground over the weekend so good time to move on.

There is a cyclone off WA coast which we will keep an eye on as that might bring rain to the goldfields area.

Noel rang back, he was all packed up and was heading up in the morning. Steve will catch him when he gets back.
