Rain
again overnight. Up early for a walk with Kaylene at Redlynch. As we headed
further up the valley the misty rain started again. Luckily I brought an
umbrella.
Back
to Kaylene’s for a cuppa and breakfast with Rick, Shane and Doreen who had
arrived yesterday. Unfortunately they had to head off at 10 to meet Shane’s
brother so I will pop in this afternoon to chat more.
Home
for lunch with Mum and Dad. I did some cleaning and sorting out for Mum.
Mickey
rang – change in plans so I will need another night in Perth. Will have to ring
Tom otherwise I can go back to Margaret in Mandurah.
Rang
Margaret about her crustless quiche recipe. She had her other cataract done and
she doesn’t need to wear any glasses now. They will head up to Steve on Monday
which will be great.
Went
back to Kaylene’s for the afternoon to chat with them and Shane and Doreen.
Rick baked me a cake – it was very nice too. Shane and Doreen are planning an
overseas trip next year so we had a great time chatting about their plans. I am
starting to think we should do our overseas travels in the next 5 years too.
Continued
on to Yorkey’s Knob where Suzanne has bought a unit. Very nice and very close
to the beach. Tenille was there too. She has a full-time position as a
paramedic at Edmonton Ambulance Centre so she has found a place to rent out
there. Kayleigh, Mark and their girls, Isabel and Lucy arrived too so we all
had a wonderful time chatting and laughing. Alexander has completed his Chief
Engineer certificates and has a permanent position on one of the big ‘white’
boats travelling the world – well done. Libby and her man are in Rockhampton
where he was posted with the Police Service.
The
sky is clearing as I head back home.
