Fri, 27th Sept, 2019 Mickey & Chris’ place, Sandstone, WA

7.30am 19 degrees, cloudy and cool breeze. We have all the windows and vents open. It had cooled off about 5am so I had to pull up the big blanket but it quickly warms up with the sun shining in the clean windows.

Joined Mickey for a walk with the dogs then I helped her with clean the rooms etc.

Steve fixed their caravan’s door latch as it was sticking like ours.

After smoko Steve dollied up some quartz rock specimens we had collected along the way to see how much gold was in them. Nice little bits of gold were hidden in the rock then he panned off the fines.

Quiet afternoon chilling out watching Foxtel with Mickey.

Mum’s brother, Wally, passed away this morning. He would have turned 92 on the 10th October. He had another stroke recently so it was a blessing for him not to have to suffer any more. Always so sad for the family though. I sent off messages to my cousins and their children.

I got onto Mum – she was ok as they were all expecting it. He was her only sibling.

Warm night so left the windows open again.
