Fri, 4th Oct, 2019 Lake Mason, north-east of Sandstone, WA

6am 22 degrees, a band of clouds are covering the sunrise. A silly pee-wee is attacking our side mirrors on the truck. She must have a nest nearby and thinks there is an intruder!

7am 24.6 degrees, the clouds are gone and the sky is clear again. No breeze.

After breakfast we went for a drive. Mr Goanna stopped for a photo as we headed around the edge of Lake Mason – very dry.

Detected in a couple of spots – no joy.

Home for lunch, 30 degrees. The wind is back with strong gusts and is sending dust everywhere again.

Watched a DVD that Mickey lent me about Circus Quidam – fabulous acrobatics.

Steve looked into the sub-tank problem. He made a new switch so we are fine for the time being but he might have to order parts when we go back to Sandstone. It could have done this a week ago while we were there!

The fridge is keeping everything very cold which is fabulous.

Played Skipbo and read our books through the afternoon. The wind has kept it cooler today.

7pm 26.5 degrees – the wind has settled down.

Cooler evening so we closed the windows and put the blanket back on the bed! It changes so quickly.
