Thurs, 14th to Wed, 20th July, 2022 The Lodge Van Park, Old Halls Creek, WA

Lovely week exploring with our friends. Chilly mornings (the heater got a work out) but lovely during the day. Great view back to the van park from up in the hills.

Lots of wild budgies around. A young one didn’t fly off with the others.

Great time chatting over drinks every afternoon.

Started warming up by the end of the week and got to 32 during the day at the end as the wind has stopped.

Steve and I drove down to Palm Springs for lunch and maybe a swim. Had lunch but skipped the swim. Zoomed in on where the water flows in from the spring which is up the hill on the other side of the road. A chap had his home and market garden there and we explored it back in 2018.

The toilet block has seen better days - looks like a flood has wiped out the top half as there is a lot of debris beside it.
