Sun, 26th May, 2024 Bowls Club RV Park, Molong to Showgrounds Campground, Orange, NSW (Visiting Jodie & Bryon)

Forecast was for 3 degrees but it got down to 1.6 in our camper! 3.6 degrees when I got up and put the heater on, which took a while then to get up to 15 degrees by 7.30am then we ran out of diesel in the heater tank! Sack the fuel guy!

I had to wipe condensation off the aluminium surround and when I wiped the vinyl, ice appeared on my rag! Clear sky as we packed up and headed off.

Back onto the Mitchell Highway passing another bike artwork - a platypus going for a ride.

Over Molong Creek again. Nice views as we roll up and down the hills.

Into Orange and around to Jodie & Bryon’s new home. There is still a few things the builder has to finish off (he was terribly behind time so he let them move in before Christmas but hasn’t been back to finish things off!) Jodie & Bryon will be doing the gardens etc.

Lovely to see her baby bump. Will be looking forward to seeing their little baby boy when he arrives towards the end of August.

Lovely flooring. Well insulated as it is nice and warm even without the heater going. They are very happy, just wish the builder would finish his bits off.

We had a wonderful time chatting through morning tea then lunch. Sam is house sitting at Bondi so he probably won’t be back tomorrow before we leave.

We went for a drive to check out the showgrounds campground as there isn’t enough level room for us to park up here. Plenty of room at the showgrounds - a few other campers already parked up.

As we turned into their housing estate I got a great sun setting photo.

Back to the house for a yummy dinner and a few games of Skipbo - the girls won overall.

Said our farewells as Jodie is back to work tomorrow while Bryon has a few more days off before his shift begins again. We turned the heater on in the camper then drove around to the showgrounds for the night. Nice and warm in the camper! BOM says it is already down to 1 degrees outside so we will leave the heater running all night set at 12 degrees. Steve had filled up the diesel tank for the heater so we should be all good.
