Mon, 8th
Started the day with a walk then swim. Terry came down too for a sit under the tree on Granma's bench.
After lunch Terry headed back to Bundy as he had the cleaner coming tomorrow. Will cancel for the next couple of weeks and come back down next Wednesday.
Tues, 9th
We drove up to Bundy to continue with the repairs to the floorboards at Terry’s place and buy a few more things for down here. Steve finding more things to fix. Our boys decided they needed air conditioning for the bedrooms so the kids were comfortable so we picked up one each from Bunnings. Such a different world now from when we raised our kids.
Wed, 10th
Another lovely day. Pottered about and worked on my blog.
Thurs, 11th
Went for our walk and noticed a chap driving along the beach taking photos of the chairs. We have the bench with Erica’s memorial plaque on it. Steve asked what he was doing. Apparently someone up the north end put in a complaint to the Council as he was accosted by someone about using a chair! The chap didn’t think we would have a problem where our bench is located.
Worked out my online order with Woolies to deliver on the 17th. Much easier than wandering around the shops.
Picked up a free fold-up table from a lady. Perfect for the drinks area.
Fri, 12th
Another lovely morning walk - lots of people to say good morning too.
Rang Jodie to see what her plans are as Bryon has to go back to work before Christmas so she will hire a car and then fly back to Orange from Bundaberg.
Rang Kaylene for a catch up too.
Jenny and Paul arrived back from a quick trip to Brisbane.
Sat, 13th
Sorted out the beds and tables ready for Christmas. Steve has finished his jobs so started polishing the camper. Makes it look like new again. I cleaned the inside then outside of the vinyl trying to get the red tinge out of it. Looks better.
Sun, 14th
Jakob’s birthday - sent him a message wishing him a lovely day.
Overcast morning - storm clouds building.
Jenny was getting rid of a smaller Christmas tree so I grabbed it to put up out the front. Set it up with decorations that won’t fall apart if it gets wet. Most of the tinsel needs replacing too.
I got out the other one and set it up in the corner. Put ours and Terry & Erica’s initials on to start.
I strung the other ones I made for us and my Mum & Dad to hang above the doorway as well.
The storm moved away from us so it was nice afternoon.
