Overcast
and 15 degrees at 7.30am. Steve coloured my hair. While we waited before I
washed the dye out, we played 5 games of Sequence. Steve won 3 games to 2. I am
getting rusty!! We had the heater on as our feet were cold.
Rebecca
and Clive rang for a chat – great to catch up with their news.
Went
for a walk and stopped to chat with a couple in a motorhome. Paul and Clare hit
the road on 31st Dec, now travelling full time like us. They used to
live in Perth. Chatted till lunchtime. They have just come from Lagoon Beach
where we are heading tomorrow.
After
lunch we started packing up and now the sun has come out. It is 18 degrees in
the van and the breeze is light but chilly. Went for a walk and chatted with
another chap about fishing. Nash wasn’t at his van so won’t get to see his ‘secret’
fishing spot.
Paul
and Clare joined us for drinks around the fire at 5pm. The birds are back
floating in the ocean in three groups. Chatted till 8pm as the temperature
dropped and the stars have come out. It was 13 degrees in the van and 7.8
degrees outside. Said our farewells but will keep in touch. Lovely couple.
