Wind
rattling the windows at 7am in gusts but settled down to a lovely morning as we
packed up. The weather changes so quickly around here. Now 17 degrees so on
with the jumpers again. Was nice to stop and rest for a while in one spot.
Headed
off back up the coast. Passed Turnbulls Road at Gordon then Griffiths Road at
Middleton. Heavy clouds over Hobart so no sunshine to keep us warm.
Into
Kingston to fill up water tanks and fuel tanks and get some groceries. We have
covered 11,145km so far and used 2111 litres of diesel. Paid 139.9c/l at
Kingston. Not getting the cheap prices here they are getting in Sydney because
of the drop in oil prices - mind you, they probably won’t drop the diesel
price!!!
Into
Hobart and into the Wrest Point Casino car park. Parked where we saw the
motorhome last time we visited and went into Reception to check if it is ok. They were not sure what to say but it is a
public car park so we will give it a go and see.
Joined up at the Casino and
checked out the restaurants etc.
Nice
view over the yachts.
Quiet
night trying to ring a few people at home. Lovely chat with Rebecca & Clive
then Sue as Charles was getting the fish and chips. Will ring him tomorrow.
