Thurs, 1st Dec, 2016 Mum & Dad’s, Cairns, Qld

Mum and I picked up Val for our last day out together. Started at the Balaclava after a lovely cuppa and a nice win. Went out to Fullers for lunch and another play on the pokies with a few little wins which made it a good day.

It has been wonderful to be able to spend time with Val a year on from saying goodbye to her last year. I will treasure the laughter I share with Mum and Val as we have a great time together.

I went down to Rebecca & Clive to get the answer for the Brain Teaser. I got 4 Down straight off – Punch. I tried everything even Googling to get answers but had to give up. They were laughing when they gave me the answer.  Nice ones guys!!

Drinks and nibbles at Steve and Michelle’s and Louis called in too. Brian and Ian had headed to Sydney to watch the V8s race at Homebush – last one there, glad we did it a few years ago. Great afternoon which stretched into the night as their nibbles were enough for dinner. They are heading off on a cruise for New Year which should be fun.
