Sat, 7th July, 2018 Mum & Dad’s home, Cairns, Qld

Nice morning temp, 18 degrees. Not used to all the road noise again coming up from Reservoir Road but the birds are outdoing it now.

Head breakfast watching the Supercars race at Barbagallo in WA that Mum had taped for us. Mum has a great view out her window in the lounge. The cockatoos are having fun hanging off the wire and eating the almond seeds.

Steve coloured my hair – have to look good for all the social gatherings.

I then got the washing on the line to dry in the lovely sunshine. Steve took ‘Pat’ down for a good wash too. Need a lot of polish too and I will have to give the inside a good wipe down.

Watched the Supercars race in Townsville which was a live broadcast. We taped it though so we could get our jobs done then we can watch it later and whiz through the adverts.

A few clouds are coming over but the washing is all dry. Steve cut some tree branches down up the back to make room for Malcolm’s bus when they arrive soon.

Mum cooked her Sweet Curry Sausages for dinner – yum yum.

I got on with my blog – so much to catch up on.

The clouds thickened and we had a shower of rain which made it a bit cooler.
