Tues, 3rd July, 2018 Graves Hill Fossicking Area, near Sapphire, Qld

7am 11.7 degrees, clear sky with mist lying in the valley.

Erica and Terry went into Emerald for food and a gas bottle. We washed up yesterday’s gravel. Got a few little zircons and a little green sapphire.

Steve rang ARB in Cairns to see about warranty for the suspension – all good, just bring it in when we get home.

Uploaded some of my blog.

Cool breeze in the shade but lovely in the sun. A few clouds around still.

We dug out some more dirt from another hole Erica had marked and got a few red and clear zircons.

It has been great to be with Erica and Terry to see how this gem hunting is done. Erica went through her stones and gave us some more so we have a nice collection now.

Played a few games of Skipbo.
