Wed, 12th
Jon took Beau to Daycare before Annalise got home from her 12hr shift so she can get some sleep.
We drove down to see Lou & Glen at work then I left Steve there and headed to Tuckshop to see the ladies. Great to see them all again. Lots of things have been happening and not all good unfortunately. The school isn’t my and the boys old school any more.
I picked up two hooded beach towels for my babies - now that I have seen what they needed. A towel to use with their ‘water play’ things. I got a pink one with strawberries on it for Sophia and one with dinosaurs on it for Beau.
Picked up Steve from Steve and Michelle - he got his exercise and walked down to their workshop. Back home for lunch.
Jon was busy in the garden trying to get it looking nice for the party. He picked up a gurney thing from Pete to clean the back concrete where they are planning to have the party and the water play area.
Annalise picked up Beau - he only goes the 3 days.
I forgot to get a photo with our boy on his birthday so Annalise took this one for us. Will get another one at his party on Saturday.
Pete came up for a drink and catch-up.
Thurs, 13th
Lynda & Simon arrived just as Jon, Annalise and Beau were heading off for his swimming lesson. They brought him a John Deere tractor and truck which he will have a lot of fun with. The kids left so we chatted till they got back.
Rang Roald for his birthday but got voice mail.
Kaylene came over at lunch time to give Beau his present. She is feeling better but now Rick has her cold, he isn’t impressed.
Roald rang back, they are near Gosford to catch up with Judy and Richard who are over to help Pete out with some things.
Clearer day today - Jon got all the gurneying down around the house using neighbour Pete’s big gurney. Then mowed the lawn - hard working lad.
Fri, 14th (Beau’s first steps)
Heavy rain this morning, unfortunately it is forecast for tomorrow too so Jon cleaning out the carport as our back-up for the party rather than out the back.
Sandra’s birthday today - sent her a message.
The sun shone for a short moment then more rain with a few rumbles of thunder after lunch.
Beau took a couple of steps between Jon & Annalise - so cute.
We had a fun time playing with the pegs on our bed.
Jon and Steve cleaned the garage as with all this rain we will have the party down there. They set up the sandpit too but Beau wasn’t too impressed with that - liked his water park better. Annalise wrote on the wall with chalk ready for the party tomorrow.
Terry rang to say he had received his ‘fall watch’ and Jo had set it up for him so he is all good now. 2 years ago Erica left this life and moved on to her heavenly one.
The rain continued all afternoon, at 7pm we had received 80mm since 9am.
