Fri, 28th Feb, 2025 Geck Beach House, Woodgate to Terry’s place, Bundaberg, Qld

A couple of light showers passed over about 6am. Nice and quiet here.

Cyclone Alfred is out to the east and heading this way but they think it will turn south. High tides predicted and they have removed campers off Fraser Island as the swell is bigger.

The boys headed into Bundy to get a retractable hose reel and pipe to change the back hose position for Terry. Will make it easier for him to hose the plants and the back patio - too many birds visiting at smoko time and leaving a thank you gift!

I stayed back and packed our bags and cleaned upstairs ready to go up to Bundy tonight. Joan and Roald came for morning tea as they are heading home today. It was lovely to have them come and visit us.

The boys were back for lunch - job done. They looked at another job that David will do later to relocate the plug for the van’s lights to make it easier for Terry when he hooks up the van for his caravan rallies.

David headed home as they are going to Nambour tomorrow. It was great to have him come up.

Jenny called in for a chat too then Phil and Brenda arrived so that filled in the afternoon.

Cooked dinner and finished our packing up then headed to Bundy house for the night. Our train leaves at 10am so it was easier to be up there so Terry can drop us to the train station.

Good drive back, watched a bit of TV then into bed. Two years ago I was here helping care for Erica, the time has passed quickly.
