Sat, 15th Mar, 2025 Jon & Annalise’s place, Kanimbla, Qld (Beau’s 1st birthday party)

Not a good start to the day for a party - pouring with rain. Luckily Jon had cleaned out the carport so we set up down there and we have upstairs patio and lounge too.

Started Beau’s height chart and added Mummy & Daddy to it too.

Annalise did some chalk art on the wall so I got a photo with Beau.

Daddy’s got my hat.

Everything ready by lunch so we relaxed and the rain has stopped.

3.30 friends and family started arriving and it still hasn’t rained - yeah. Sadly his little friends had colds so they couldn’t come but he had Sophia and some little boys down the road who played with him in the sandpit. Because it had been so wet we didn’t put out his water park out. Lucky he had fun in it on his actual birthday.

Cake time - it was delicious and Lynda and Annalise had made yummy things to eat as well.

I dug out Stephen’s tricycle he got for his 1^st birthday and snapped some photos of his grandchildren on it.

It was a wonderful afternoon and the rain stayed away till the evening.
