Sleep-in
this morning after a shower of rain early this morning cooling things off.
Got
ready for lunch to celebrate Val still being with us nearly a year after we
said goodbye when she chose not to have any more medical intervention as she
had been through so much. The doctors call her the Miracle Woman. Her children,
Yvonne, Lorraine & Mark and husbands, Geoff and Clive joined us and Terry
and Erica. Had a great time chatting and hearing all the stories. Val even made
us scones!!

Mummy
sunbird making the final touches to her nest. Not long now and she and Mr
Sunbird will go off for a couple of weeks ‘holiday’ to return then and sit on
the eggs.
Dinner
at The Edge Tavern with the Geck relatives. Terry’s sister, Maralyn and husband
Greg, their daughter Marijke and her son, Ryan as well has Brian, his kids and
our kids. Another great night chatting.

boys – needed a new screen-saver picture for my laptop and it is lovely to see
their their
faces every time I open up my laptop!!
