Fri, 29th Mar, 2019 10 Mile Outcamp, Tarmoola Station, 60km north of Leonora, WA

Cold strong wind came up during the night.

8am 20 degrees and overcast – closed up the van again. The weather changes so much in temperature the poor fridge is either struggling to keep things cool or freezing everything!!

Sorted the groceries and started sorting things in the van ready to move on Monday.

10am the wind has blown all the clouds away.

Jon rang – he and some mates are heading to Marina Plains in May to do some fishing so he wanted some tips of places to go etc.

Lunch, 25 degrees, still windy and the sky is clear.

Did our last bore run. All good. Saw a few cattle and a little calf then at another well a dingo was wandering in for a drink.

Home again. The two tanks are now full here which is good.

Had drinks in the van with the windows closed to keep out the cold wind. Mabel (a brown cow) with her big calf and some friends wandered around the back of the cottage nibbling on the green shoots. Two kangaroos came in for a drink from the goanna bath and nibbled the green lawn grass.

6.30pm 25 degrees in the van and the wind is still blowing.

Clear crisp sky tonight with the stars twinkling brightly but too cool to stay outside and look for satellites unless I did out a jumper.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
