Sat, 6th Dec, 2014 Cooee Point Reserve

Bleak morning, drizzly rain and the wind has increased. We were going to the Wivenhoe Markets to check out the farmers’ produce etc but too cold and miserable for that.

Craig & Kathryn have decided to move on and head west so had a cuppa with them before they left. Will keep in touch and we might run into them again before they leave in 3 months.

Quite morning working out our next part of the trip towards Hobart. V8s are racing at Homebush in Sydney. They have been having terrible electrical storms. Brisbane has had some terrible ones too. Glad we are here with just some rain and wind. Relaxing afternoon watching the races. Then 2nd one was stopped as the storm hit and it was just too dangerous to keep racing.

Went for a walk along the footpath along the beach side then back for dinner. Rang Jon & Tash for a chat then Dan came over - so good to chat to them all. Told them about Nana & Papa being robbed. Rang Rick & Kaylene for a lovely chat. Jakob will be 21 on the 14th, how the years have flown. While we were talking it started to rain with thunder and lightning – we even heard it over the phone.

Quiet night. No photos today.
