Wed, 30th Dec, 2015 Dalvue Motel, Terang to Apex Van Park, Terang (Hamilton Speedway)

Packed our stuff back into the van and hooked up again. Hot day so back into the shorts. Drove down High Street to the Apex Community Van Park where the others are and set ourselves up. 

Steve got into pit crew mode and I worked on my blog. Texted Griffo to wish him a happy birthday.

Lou is heading back to Cairns so I went with him and Helen to the airport so Helen could keep the hire car. Long drive in via Geelong then up through Ballarat and along Glenelg Highway (with a slight detour – need to get a new GPS!!) to Hamilton where tonight’s racing is. Made it at last just as Glen was going around in his first heat, missed Lexi’s race – didn’t get to video these heats.

Found the seats and settled in for the next heats. Won’t be needing jeans and jumpers tonight.

Glen and Lexi were in the same heat.

Lexi into Bmain but didn’t progress into the Amain. Glen through to Amain and finished 6^th.

Packed up the truck then Steve came with Helen and I in the hire car – smoother trip!! Another late night.
