Tues, 13th Feb, 2018 Bob & Margaret’s, near Mandurah, WA (Perth Casino)

7am 19 degrees and overcast.

8am the clouds are parting.

Into the train station with Bob and Margaret for the trip into Perth to visit the Casino. Linda joined us as Kev was painting the van.

All aboard.

Up from the Underground to the main Perth Station to board the train to the Casino.

View of the Crown Casino complex from the train station where we then boarded the Casino bus down to the entrance of the casino which looks like a pyramid.

Inside and the different lights etc were wonderful.

Went into the Casino and had a play for a while.

Went for a walk then in the restaurant section beside the hotel. Great tree to celebrate Chinese New Year. I am a rabbit and Steve is a pig. 2018 is the year of the dog.

Continued on into the new section where the ballrooms etc are below the hotel.

Great pools outside though it was very windy.

Looking across the Swan River to Perth City.

Continued along the wide corridors.

Big mirrors are great to take a group photo with.

Love these lights made of fine thin rods.

Interesting art behind the reception desk.

Steve went for a ride around and around the continually spinning door.

Outside to check out some art. The new stadium is just up the road.

Gold tables that look like timber. Steve loved the chairs – won’t say what he did though when I sat beside him on the other side!!

Lovely bar in TWR (The Waiting Room).

Another wall of plants then we head back round the other side of the ballrooms.

Back to the Casino section for another play on the pokies.

We all had fun. I was nearly running out of my $10 when Steve came over and gave me $24 that he just won so he made $14. Then I said for him to play my machine as I wasn’t winning and lo and behold he won so we got $14 from that giving me a $4 win. We were happy with that. They others had fun too.

Back on the bus and around to the station then onto the train and back to Perth Underground. Last look probably at Perth City from The Narrows as we head back to Mandurah on the train.

Love this little baby’s expression.

Dropped Linda home – Kev has been busy – got one side painted on the van.

Back home for a drink or two – no walk this afternoon!! Very windy again and the clouds have been blown away.

More Olympics.
