Wed, 7th Feb, 2018 Bob & Margaret’s, near Mandurah, WA

7.30am 18.8 degrees, overcast and breezy.

Rang Malcolm to see how he was progressing with his hire car for the Cape York trip. All good so I will finalise our itinerary and send him a copy. Bob and Margaret are going to join us too after they travel Australia’s Longest Shortcut from Laverton to Winton on the Great Central Highway.

Sandy rang back after I texted her about my new fly screen door. They had a good week away for Australia Day.

The sky has cleared as Steve and I headed into town to do some shopping.

When we got back Margaret was out fishing down at The Cut. Unfortunately nothing to put on the dinner plate for tonight.

Nicer night for a walk – still windy but not blowing a gale this time.

Rang Mum and Dad for a chat after dinner – doing fine. Her toe is much better and her fluid has gone down too. She and Val will probably go out for a while tomorrow.

NO PHOTOS TODAY.
