Fri, 18th March, 2022 Warrego Fossicking Area, near Tennant Creek, NT

3am - a shower of rain woke us which cooled things down a bit.

No joy this morning. I only detect till 10 but Steve headed back out again. Luckily we have lots of books to read to pass the time in the heat. It is hot but during the day the wind blows well which helps. The flies hang on the screen outside the window but don’t come in through the blue/white strips hanging over the doorway - you just have to do the jiggle to get them off before you walk inside.

Another wander in the late afternoon but we are in ‘clean-up Australia’ mode - picking up the rubbish!!

Quiet evening reading.
